Welcome to $BRACKETS Fantasy Sports. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and $BRACKETS (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our platform, creating an account, or entering any contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND PROHIBITED JURISDICTIONS
1.1 Skill-Based Game: This platform offers fantasy sports contests which are games of skill. Outcomes are determined by the relative knowledge and skill of the participants.
1.2 Prohibited Jurisdictions: $BRACKETS is NOT available to residents of the following jurisdictions. Accessing the site via VPN to bypass these restrictions is a violation of these
Terms:
United States: Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Washington.
International: United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, Brunei, North Korea, Syria, Cambodia, Singapore, and Turkey.
1.3 Age Requirements: * United States Residents: 21 years of age or older.
International Residents: 18 years of age or older (or the legal age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
1.4 Sanctions Compliance: Users from partially sanctioned regions (Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Cuba, Myanmar, Zimbabwe) are subject to enhanced screening. Individuals on OFAC, EU, or UN sanctions lists are strictly prohibited.
2. CONTEST RULES AND TIERS
2.1 Free Tier (The "Free League"):
Entry Limit: Maximum of one (1) team per user.
Prize Pool: $1,000 USDC shared among the Top 10 finishers.
Non-Conversion: Once a Free Team has scored any game points, it cannot be converted into a Paid Team.
2.2 Premium Tier (The "Paid League"):
Entry Fee: $10 USDC.
Team Limit: Maximum of five (5) teams per user.
Winner Structure: Prizes are awarded to the Top 3 winners of each of the three (3) rounds, as well as the overall Top 3 winners of the league.
3. PRIZE CLAIMS AND KYC (KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER)
3.1 Mandatory Verification: All winners are required to complete a KYC verification process to claim prizes. This includes providing government-issued identification and proof of residence.
3.2 The 30-Day Rule: Winners must successfully complete KYC within thirty (30) days of the contest's conclusion.
3.3 Prize Cascading: If a winner is found to be from a restricted jurisdiction, fails KYC, or does not complete KYC within the 30-day window, they forfeit the prize. The prize will automatically "cascade" to the participant in the next eligible leaderboard position.
4. PAYOUTS AND CRYPTOCURRENCY
4.1 Payment Method: All payouts are made in cryptocurrency (e.g., USDC or $BRACKETS tokens). 4.2 Volatility Disclaimer: You acknowledge that cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. $BRACKETS is not responsible for any change in the value of the prize between the time of winning and the time of withdrawal or exchange. 4.3 Transaction Fees: Network "gas" fees or exchange fees associated with the payout are the responsibility of the winner.
5. ANTI-FRAUD AND MONITORING
5.1 IP Monitoring: We monitor IP addresses to detect and block spam, multi-accounting (beyond permitted limits), and fraudulent activity. 5.2 One Account Policy: Users are prohibited from creating multiple accounts. Discovery of "syndicate" play or multi-accounting will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all prizes.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Limited Use: We use player names, statistics, and country flags for informational and gameplay purposes. 6.2 No Affiliation: $BRACKETS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, the NFL, NBA, or any official sports league or team. No official league logos are used on this platform.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 Data Accuracy: We rely on third-party data providers for live sports scores. We are not liable for any errors, delays, or inaccuracies in such data. 7.2 "As-Is" Service: The platform is provided on an "as-is" basis. We are not responsible for technical malfunctions, server outages, or "lag" that may affect your ability to edit lineups before game lock-times.
8. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion, for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to: providing false KYC data, bypass attempts via VPN, or suspected collusion.
